In September of last year, BWGI printed the second edition of our bike and walk maps. BWGI is able to print these maps through a generous grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, and in partnership with Typebird Creative and the the Coastal Regional Commission of Georgia.
This new edition includes updated information about trail routes, important pedestrian, bicycling and driver safety tips, and guidelines for using and sharing the multiuse paths around Glynn County (see image left).
Another notable feature of these newer maps is a section listing the “Bike Fix-it Stations, Public Restrooms and Water Stops” in Glynn County (see image right).
In 2026, BWGI will be working on a similar resource for Camden County, and one for McIntosh in 2027. These Glynn County Bike and Walk maps can be downloaded on the MAP link in our navigation bar. Physical copies are available in many local businesses and at both locations for the Golden Isles Welcome Center.
