America Walks is a leading national nonprofit that advances safe, equitable, accessible, and enjoyable places to walk and move by giving people and communities the resources to effectively advocate for change. 

The mission of Bike Walk Savannah is to promote an equitable environment for biking and walking in Savannah.

A public Facebook group for bicycling events, sales, memorabilia, and people looking for someone to ride with in and around Brunswick.

The Camden Cycling Club is a non-profit, membership organization formed to promote a bicycle friendly communities in Camden County.

The Coastal Bicycle Touring Club seeks to provide opportunities for riders of all levels to enjoy group cycling and further safe riding throughout the region.

The East Coast Greenway connects 15 states and 450 cities and towns for 3,000 miles from Maine to Florida. The organization is dedicated  fostering a safe walking and biking route through the country’s most populated corridor.

A Facebook group for people who love bicycling, the Golden Isles, and want to make new friends and explore together. 

Bicycle Ride Across Georgia Dream Team clubs provide extraordinary experiences for youth to dream beyond their circumstances and grow greater by the mile.

Sweet Onion Rail Trail

Georgia & Florida Trail, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is the conversion of abandoned portions of the historic G & F Railroad corridor, into a beautiful linear park with paved surfaces for non-motorized recreation, such as walking, skating, jogging, wheelchair and bicycle use. Our first goal is the creation of the Sweet Onion Rail Trail from downtown Vidalia to Hazlehurst Georgia and on to Douglas (65-miles).

Georgia Bikes works to improve bicycling conditions and promote bicycling throughout the state of Georgia. Bike Walk Golden Isles is receiving administrative support from Georgia Bikes.

The Safe Routes to School program empowers communities to make walking and bicycling to school a safe and routine activity once again. Georgia’s SRTS Resource Center assists schools and communities with education, encouragement, enforcement, evaluation, planning and other non-construction related activities.

Golden Isles Track Club is dedicated to the idea that exercise can be fun for the young and the young at heart!  Walkers, runners, triathletes, and cyclists all comprise GITC’s membership.

For generations past and to come, the League of American Bicyclists is the grassroots movement to create safer roads, stronger communities, and a Bicycle Friendly America for everyone. Through education, advocacy and promotion, we work to celebrate and preserve the freedom cycling brings to our members everywhere.

SEGA SORBA is the South East Georgia chapter of the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association, part of the International Mountain Bicycling Association. SEGA-SORBA is a volunteer non-profit organization formed to promote great off-road bike trails in South East Georgia.

Bicycling has long been a favorite activity on Jekyll Island. With more than 20 miles of picturesque paths and trails, biking offers a scenic way to see all of the island’s hallmark points of interest. 

Blythe Island Regional Park is a 1,100 acre public park developed and managed by Glynn County with the help of Georgia’s Department of Natural Resources. 

Trail sites in and around Kingsland include Cumberland Island National Seashore, Crooked River State Park and Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge.

Includes trails in St. Marys, Woodbine, Crooked River State Park, and other locations in Camden County. 

The route through Georgia links inland communities across Georgia’s six coastal counties. The network connects towns, attractions, recreational sites, historic and cultural sites, waterways, and natural habitats of the coast.
