Pedal Golden Isles returns October 18!
Bicyclists from around the Golden Isles are invited to join our second annual Pedal Golden Isles ride on October 18, 2025! This event offers supported, non-competitive rides of 20, 40, and 62 miles through beautiful Coastal Georgia.
“We were consistently asked when we were going to organize a longer ride, and Pedal Golden Isles was our answer in the best way,” said Tavel Cowan, BWGI Executive Director. “We were delighted with the positive response to our inaugural event, as it showed the demand for safe, accessible cycling opportunities in our area. Proceeds from the ride are poured right back into our local bike and pedestrian education and advocacy efforts.”
Last year’s event featured riders aged 8 to 78, from cycling newcomers to Ironman triathletes.
All rides begin at Risley Middle School at 707 South Port Parkway, Brunswick, with frequent rest stops and SAG support along the way.
Ride routes are available on the registration page. Registration is currently $65 with a price increase on June 30. Day-of registration is $85.
