BWGI was awarded a $1,300 grant by the Golden Isles Track Club in July! This generous grant will be used to purchase safety lights for night walking, running, and cycling, as well as mini road signs for use during cycling programs. The Golden Isles Track Club donates all profits from the July 4th Sunshine Festival 5K and mile kids events, helping fund running-related causes throughout the community. GITC also donated to BWGI in 2021 in support of our bike refurbishment project which resulted in 11 bikes donated this spring. Thank you, GITC, for your commitment to safe walking and running!
