This month, come along for a “Walk With A…” Historian. Allison Dupuis, the Director of Programming for the Coastal Georgia Historical Society, is leading us along a ~2-mile walk on the anniversary of the U-Boat Attack on Saint Simons Island

Meets every Tuesday at 10:30 AM at the Gloucester entrance of the Brunswick Library for a 1 mile leisurely walk to Hanover Square and back. In the case of inclement weather at 9:30 AM, the class will be canceled for the day.

BWGI kicked off monthly walk-and-talk series
BWGI kicked off its new monthly walk-and-talk series with “Walk With A… Climate Scientist” on February 11. This new program will be offered at Brunswick and SSI locations to promote safe walking

Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety presentation
BWGI facilitated a Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety presentation with Connor Booth, the Georgia Department of Transportation Bicycle & Pedestrian Engineer, as well as local traffic engineers at the Golden Isles Track Club quarterly meeting in mid-February.
