Professional Background

Orrie McCrea is the Retired Vice President of Sales Engineering for Microsoft, a software company specializing in human interface products using artificial intelligence and natural language understanding.

Community Involvement

Orrie serves as President of the Golden Isles Track Club. He also serves as Race Director for several local foot races. 

Orrie is a member of  the International Toastmaster club.

Orrie serves as President of the Board of the Blackshear, GA-based charity Hooves to Freedom, which is a horse therapeutic center for people. He is a natural leader who has served in many local groups and fund raisers.

Personal Life

Orrie grew up in Waycross, graduating from Ware County in 1980. He is married to local girl Marsha, and has 4 children plus 4 grandchildren.

Orrie and Marsha reside on Saint Simons. Orrie is an avid runner and cyclists who competes in marathons, triathlons and other events.
