“Walk With A…” Muralist

Bike Walk Golden Isles is hosting the second excursion for our monthly walk-and-talk program, and it’s happening next week! This month, come along for a “Walk With A…” Muralist. Prolific artist Roderrick Davis is leading us along a ~2-mile mural walk through downtown Brunswick. Many of the murals along our planned route were done as part of The Brunswick Mural Project by Glynn Visual Arts, one was part of the “Honoring The Past and Building The Future” project, and a few historic works as well.

There are more incredible murals outside the scope of our route length that are well worth seeing. More information about local murals will be available in an upcoming newsletter, stay tuned!

As always, come prepared for southeast Georgia weather. Wear your sturdy walking shoes and a hat, and don’t forget to bring water and sunscreen for this outdoor excursion. We will set off from the Wick 3.0 (501 Gloucester St.) on Tuesday, March 11th at 9:30 AM for this fun and informative activity!
