Murray Pounds is the BWGI board chair as well as chair of the Infrastructure Committee. He retired after a 40-year career with the Kirkwood, Missouri, Parks and Recreation Department, the last 17 years serving as director. Throughout his career he organized numerous biking and walking events. He also was a part of several efforts to develop walking/biking master trail plans for Kirkwood. He rides his bike daily around his home on St. Simons Island.
