BWGI facilitated a Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety presentation with Connor Booth, the Georgia Department of Transportation Bicycle & Pedestrian Engineer, as well as local traffic engineers at the Golden Isles Track Club quarterly meeting in mid-February. Connor shared how Georgia is making state roads safer for those who walk, run, cycle and roll, and BWGI is proud to be a partner in the state’s Safe Systems Approach, especially since walking and biking for transportation is on the rise in Glynn County. Thanks to this incredible running community for hosting this discussion and reminding us why safe streets are important for all.
