Bike Walk Golden Isles, in cooperation with Georgia Bikes, the Georgia Safe Routes to School Resources Center, and Bike Walk Savannah offered a bike safety program at Burroughs-Molette Elementary School on May 24. With support of the schools teachers and administrators, 164 students completed a bike safety program that taught them how to make sure their bikes are safe to ride, why and how to wear a helmet, how to use hand singles, and how to follow traffic signs and signals.

BWGI also donated bike locks and helmets to the school, which will be distributed to students in need. Photos of the event are available on the Glynn County Public Schools Facebook page.
