SUMMARY:GIPL SINGS Fall Celebration & Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join Georgia Interfaith Power & Light and Bike Walk Golden Isles for an Interfaith Spirituality in Nature Groups (SINGS) gathering. \nCome gather by the ocean as we honor the passage of Summer into Fall. This is an opportunity for deepening spirituality through nature\, and for nurturing loving relationships with the Earth. There will be time for readings\, a sacred saunter\, and sharing in community. We will leave with a renewed commitment to mindfully participate in the healing of the Earth community. \nThe gathering will be held at Massengale Park on Saint Simons Island. We will meet at an oak-shaded picnic tables\, and have time to explore the beach as the sun sets. \nPlease bring a journal\, chair\, and whatever you need to be comfortable outside (bug spray\, water\, etc.). You are also invited to share a poem\, reading\, or song to celebrate the transition to Fall. We will provide light snacks.
