SUMMARY:COB GA Cities Week Bike Rodeo
DESCRIPTION:Bike Walk Golden Isles is partnering up with the City of Brunswick for a bike rodeo at Mary Ross Waterfront Park on Wednesday\, April 22nd from 4-6 PM as part of Georgia Cities Week! \nBike rodeos teach essential bike safety and on-bike handling skills using proven strategies. This event is geared for children and youth ages 3-12. BWGI recommends riders bring their own bike\, but will have a small bike library on site for riders to borrow one if they need. \nJoin us for the FREE community event – All are welcome! \nBWGI and our partner organizations will be onsite leading this activity with trained LCIs and volunteer staff. \n  \nHelmets are required for this event.  \n  \nBWGI will provide free bike helmets with helmet safety education to any rider who lacks this essential safety equipment\, thanks to funding from the GA Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS).  \n

DESCRIPTION:Get Outside for Celebrate Trails Day!  \nOn the fourth Saturday of April\, join BWGI and Rails to Trails Conservancy for the RTC annual springtime celebration of America’s trails. RTC is planning to make the 2026 Celebrate Trails Day the biggest and best yet—and we hope everyone will take part by attending an event or designing your own day on trails in the Golden Isles. \nThis will be BWGI’s first year participating in this national celebration of trails and we have several events planned for the day with partners from across our region! \nWe are highlighting the following events\, but you are welcome to enjoy the day at your favorite trail.
