DESCRIPTION:Get Outside for Celebrate Trails Day!  \nOn the fourth Saturday of April\, join BWGI and Rails to Trails Conservancy for the RTC annual springtime celebration of America’s trails. RTC is planning to make the 2026 Celebrate Trails Day the biggest and best yet—and we hope everyone will take part by attending an event or designing your own day on trails in the Golden Isles. \nThis will be BWGI’s first year participating in this national celebration of trails and we have several events planned for the day with partners from across our region! \nWe are highlighting the following events\, but you are welcome to enjoy the day at your favorite trail. Veer right at the split to pass the marina and boat launch. Park in the lot to the left or in spots facing the marsh by the old playground. Meet at the “Celebrate Trails Day” sign by the trailhead adjacent to the playground. \nDetails: Join BWGI\n\nColor the Path\nWhat: Sidewalk Chalk Trail Art \nWhen: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM\nWhere: MLK-Altama Path from Gloucester to Mansfield\nDetails: Meet at the concrete slab in front of Victorian Antiques (1412 Gloucester St.) at the intersection of Gloucester and MLK Jr. Blvd. Parking available along MLK Jr. Blvd.\nPartners: College of Coastal Georgia\, Glynn Visual Arts\, and SPARK. \nThis event is still in collaborative stages with several partner organizations.
