SUMMARY:CCC 11th Annual Three Rivers Ride
DESCRIPTION:BWGI will be supporting this ride. \nFrom their website: \nHoward Gilman Memorial Waterfront Park on St. Marys Street West \n\nDo not park in the Cumberland Ferry lot across from the park\nStreet parking is available throughout the downtown area\n\nPacket pickup begins at 6:30 AM at the Waterfront Park Gazebo \nRiders stage by 7:30 for the safety briefing. Sunrise is at 7:45\, and we will start at safe light! \nEach route starts separately at 2-minute intervals\, beginning with the century riders\, then the 62\, 40\, 30 \nRoutes are color-coded on directional signs and cue sheets \n\nYellow = Century\nRed = 62 mi\nBlue = 40 mile\nGreen = 30 mile\n\nDirectional signs are posted along the routes; there are NO markings on the street. \n\nBlack arrows indicate all routes follow the same path\nColored arrows indicate specific routes split from the pack\nKnow your color and follow the arrows\n\nSupport and Gear (SAG) vehicles will be patrolling the entire course \n\nIf you need help\, move out of the roadway and a SAG will stop to check on you.\nContact phone numbers are located on your cue sheet\nOn the Hwy 17 stretch for 62 & 100-mile\, SAG may follow riders closely to calm local traffic.\nRest stops are clearly labeled and stocked with water and snacks\nRestroom facilities are available\n\nFinal notes about the routes \n\nWhen traveling on Spur 40 (Charlie Smith Sr Hwy)\, the right lane past the submarine photo op becomes a TURN ONLY lane into the base. Please merge left to continue straight through the light.\nThe 40\, 62 and 100 mile routes travel along Laurel Island Parkway\, which has a new multi-purpose trail on the north side. Please take advantage of this new addition to our local trail system!\nCentury Riders please note: The rest stop in Woodbine at the Satilla River (mile 44) is a must! Century riders must arrive at the Woodbine rest stop (mile 44) by noon to avoid being turned back to complete a shorter ride.\n\nAfter the ride \n\nPlease use your meal credit at one of the participating restaurant sponsors listed on the voucher included in your registration packet.\nEnjoy the remainder of your day in St Marys!!
