DESCRIPTION:The Heritage 5K Race and Heritage Walk for the 5th year on a course that takes you past some of Brunswick’s most historic African American business neighborhoods. We’ll head out on a family-friendly bicycle ride at 5:30 through downtown and the historic areas of Brunswick. \nThen\, at 6:30 p.m.\, join us back at the Wick 3.0 (501 Gloucester Street) for refreshments and a brief membership meeting and presentation showcasing Bike Walk Golden Isles’ success and plans for the future. We will provide secure indoor bike parking \nThe ride is completely free\, but registration is requested so we know how many to expect. Helmets are mandatory\, and bike lights are advised\, especially with the darkening fall skies.
