DESCRIPTION:The City of Brunswick Tree Board and Bike Walk Golden Isles invite you on a 3.28 mi. community bike ride to learn about the Heritage Trees in Downtown Brunswick on May 9th. The BRAG Dream Team Gullah/Geechee Club will provide route safety support during the ride and Glynn County Master Gardeners will provide a history at each of our route stops. DESCRIPTION:Bike Walk Golden Isles is partnering up with the City of Brunswick for a bike rodeo at Mary Ross Waterfront Park on Wednesday\, April 22nd from 4-6 PM as part of Georgia Cities Week! \nBike rodeos teach essential bike safety and on-bike handling skills using proven strategies. This event is geared for children and youth ages 3-12. BWGI recommends riders bring their own bike\, but will have a small bike library on site for riders to borrow one if they need. \nJoin us for the FREE community event – All are welcome! \nBWGI and our partner organizations will be onsite leading this activity with trained LCIs and volunteer staff. \n  \nHelmets are required for this event.  \n  \nBWGI will provide free bike helmets with helmet safety education to any rider who lacks this essential safety equipment\, thanks to funding from the GA Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS).  \n
